My father passed away Saturday night at 6:40 pm.
Regarding the finances, I will mail a check to Ivalyn for a full day on Saturday (she was there for 12 hours) plus a bonus. In addition, I will give Eva a check for her time last week plus a bonus.
I would like to say that I could not have been more fortunate to have Eva, Ivalyn and Merelene with me during this time. The level of support they provided was unbelievable.
Looking back, the first 9 months at the Holiday were very difficult for my father, in part due to the caregivers he was supplied with from your competitor. The caregivers your agency has provided my mother and father are first rate. They actually love their job and it shows in the care they provide to your clients. My father was so fortunate to have Eva for the last 9 months of his life. She completely changed his attitude in many areas, and it showed each time I was there to visit.
